Sany Heavy Industry increases research and development, manufacturing of large-scale mining equipment

The Sany Heavy Industry Mining Excavator Global Research and Production Center has completed the signing and landing of contracts. The project focuses on the research and production of large-scale mining equipment with a capacity of over 100 tons, gathers global R&D resources, and develops green and intelligent mining equipment solutions for the global market. After the project is completed, it will drive the coordinated development of upstream and downstream supporting industries in Hunan Province's industry .

At the product level, the company has launched new energy models such as extended range electric cranes, enriching the electric product matrix and balancing equipment endurance performance with on-site operational needs. At overseas exhibitions, Sany showcased its intelligent mining robot system, promoting unmanned operation technology to overseas markets and exploring the overseas landing path of intelligent equipment.

Industry observation shows that large mining machines are a sector with high technical barriers for construction machinery. The implementation of this project will help improve the domestic mining equipment industry chain and provide more equipment choices for mining projects.
