The construction machinery service system continues to upgrade, and leading enterprises strengthen their frontline operation and maintenance support capabilities

In the summer of 2026, many parts of China will enter the high-temperature construction season. Construction machinery companies such as XCMG, Sany, and Zoomlion will launch a special summer service action, organizing service engineers to go to various project sites in China and overseas mining areas to carry out equipment inspections, fault diagnosis, operator training, and other work.

The XCMG service team went to mines, underground engineering, and high-temperature construction sites in the south to conduct special inspections on new energy heavy-duty trucks and electric engineering machinery. They conducted item by item inspections on vehicle power systems and three electrical components, established equipment service files, and provided daily maintenance training for machine operators. When encountering equipment abnormalities, engineers are stationed to follow up and locate the root cause of the problem through on-site testing and multi condition testing, ensuring that the project does not stop.

Sany has established a hierarchical service response mechanism, with on-site service personnel assigned to key domestic projects, and overseas regions relying on local service outlets to shorten the response time for faults. Zoomlion has established a new energy maintenance technology team specifically for new energy equipment, conducting engineer skill training to enhance the ability to handle faults in electric engineering machinery.

Construction machinery belongs to high-frequency heavy-duty equipment, and the later operation and maintenance services directly affect the cost of customer use. In the process of industry development, service has become an important component of competition for whole machine enterprises. In addition to fault repair, preventive inspections, operator training, timely supply of spare parts, and evaluation and remanufacturing of second-hand equipment are all included in the service system. At the same time, with the increase in the number of electric equipment, the industry is also filling in the gaps in supporting talents, maintenance standards, spare parts reserves, and other aspects of the three electric system maintenance, in order to adapt to the growing market share of new energy engineering machinery.
