Las Vegas Construction Machinery Exhibition: Chinese construction machinery enterprises showcase their technological achievements in a concentrated manner

In March 2026, the North American Las Vegas Construction Machinery Exhibition was held, with several domestic construction machinery companies including XCMG, Sany, Zoomlion, and LiuGong participating in the exhibition. They showcased various customized and developed complete machine products and intelligent technology achievements for the North American market.

XCMG exhibited complete sets of machinery such as earthmoving machinery, lifting equipment, and high-altitude work platforms. The products were renovated in accordance with local safety regulations and emission standards, covering scenarios such as construction, mining operations, and high-altitude storage operations. Sany Heavy Industry has set up a remote operation experience platform on site, where visitors can operate and remotely call domestic test site excavators to complete excavation actions, demonstrating 5G remote construction technology intuitively. Zoomlion brought off-road tire cranes and large excavators, and completed a 5G remote tower crane control demonstration on site. Liugong will showcase electric and unmanned equipment prototypes and introduce cluster operation solutions.

At this exhibition, domestic enterprises are no longer solely relying on product cost-effectiveness to attract customers, but are showcasing more intelligent control systems, new energy power, and overall machine adaptability. Many overseas distributors and project parties attended to conduct technical exchanges and negotiate potential cooperation orders.

The regulatory system in the North American market is strict, and customers have high requirements for equipment safety, parts supply cycle, and after-sales service system, resulting in relatively high entry barriers. Domestic construction machinery companies need to improve their local spare parts warehouses, training systems, and local service teams in addition to hardware products in order to expand their market share in North America. This exhibition has also become an important window for domestic construction machinery to understand the demand of the North American market and connect with overseas channels, collecting market information for subsequent product iteration and market expansion.
